Google has released Google Chrome beta, a new open-source web browser based on the Apple webkit browser.

Google Chrome features a simple and intuitive user interface which was designed for speed, security, stability and usability.

Major features of Google Chrome

Fast Loading
Google Chrome loads faster when compared against the other major browsers(Firefox and Internet Explorer).

 

Less Memory
Google Chrome uses less memory when compared against the other major browsers(Firefox and Internet Explorer).

 

One Textbox to rule them all
Google Chrome allows you to create dynamic search queries using the address bar in the browser. It can also provide suggestions as you enter a search term.

 

Safer Browsing
Google Chrome will warn you of suspected phishing malware or unsafe website based.

 

1 Click Instant Bookmarking
Simply clicking on the star icon at the left edge of the address bar in your Google Chrome browser will automaticaly bookmark the page for you.

 

Download Monitoring
Google Chrome provide a visual monitor of your download's status at the bottom of the window. Once complete you can simply drag the icon onto your desktop.

 

Incognito mode
Incognito mode is Google Chrome feature that you can use for private browsing. Essentially, it ensures that nothing viewed in this mode can be discovered via looking history cache.

 

Launch Web Applications from your desktop
Google Chrome allows you to create shortcuts for web based applications on your desktop that you will launch automatically into full screen mode without launching Google Chrome (greate for Flash Games).
